"Fore" the Cause
The 26th annual Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge brings gridiron greats to the golf course, but more importantly it raises money to help at-risk youth in Camden County. The Jaws Youth Fund, led by the Jaworski family and the United Way, helps disadvantaged youth make the transition to adulthood.
One program that benefits from the JYF is The Work Group in Pennsauken, NJ. This past week program members helped prep for the big weekend by stuffing golfer goody bags for the players at the Atlantic City Country club and gift bags for the guests staying at Harrah's Atlantic City.
After the JYF trucks were loaded, the group had some free time to play tennis at Ron Jaworski's RiverWinds Golf and Tennis Club with Head Pro Nancy Wilkins.
Last year's 25th anniversary saw the total raised for the JYF eclipse $3 million and after this weekend the number will continue to grow.
