Hunting Park &
United Way Healthy Kids Zone
While a pool party, cigars and golf are part of the RJCGC festivities, we pause to remember that all proceeds raised benefit the Jaws Youth Playbook (JYP).
The mission of the foundation is to improve the overall health and wellness of at-risk youth in the Greater Philadelphia Region. We do this by raising awareness and advocating for the access to safe play and healthy choices, and supporting programs providing positive youth health and wellness platforms.
In the last 10 years JYP has raised more than $3 million to benefit area youth and has participated in many events.
Last November, JYP joined GMC, United Way and Fairmount Park Conservancy to build a Healthy Kids Zone. Celebrities and volunteers helped build a playground to provide a place for children to play at Hunting Park in the North Philadelphia community.
And in January, Jaws and his friends pitched in on MLK Day of Service at Girard College.
JYP, along with the help of Vice President Joe Biden and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, collected, sorted, and distributed sports and fitness equipment for kids.

From all of us at the Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Tournament and the Jaws Youth Playbook, thank you for all the time, money and dedication everyone provides to such a worthy cause.
Thank you!
