Friday Fab 5!

Happy Friday to you! I woke up so relieved today is Friday. Even though this was a short work week for me from my vacation, I feel like it has lasted two weeks.

Anyways, here are the top 5 things trending in my world right now!

#1: Nude Lips

no one pulls this look off better than Adriana Lima.

I just bought a nude lipstick from Sephora Collection & I love it! It's beautiful on & Sephora Collection lipsticks in their Rouge Shine line are super moisturizing! Can't go wrong!

 

 

#2: Dolce Vita Flats

I splurged on these Dolce Vita flats in California. SO comfortable & I think they are really cute. The ankle strap is lovely and they make me want to buy another pair.

 

 

#3: Makeup Brushes

I've discovered the beauty of multiple makeup brushes during my makeup artistry class. Honestly, if you don't have a good set of makeup brushes, it's definitely worth investing some money to get some!

 

#4: Knuckle Rings

 I love the look of these rings SO MUCH. I just can't wear them. They slide right off my finger no matter what size it is. So to those of you who CAN wear these, you should!

#5: Natural Looking Waves

I'm not sure if I love this look because it's fun and textured or because I'm lazy with my hair.. If your hair is naturally very straight, try using a sea salt spray for a more textured look!

Happy Friday Everyone!
Here is my Fab 5 list for this week..

Animal Print: Especially leopard print. They're my favorite neutral & I think it goes with everything. I love these heels & also love how versatile leopard print flats are with something as simple as jeans and a v-neck tee. Love!

Shades of Purple smokey eye.
+ I love Nicole Richie! Purple smokey eye is a great alternative to the brown/black smokey eye. It's great for fall & it makes every eye color pop!

Tulle Skirts.
I LOVE this look because it's something that we are seeing in high-end fashion magazines but it's just as fun to see someone wearing this outfit walking down the street. It can be dressed up or dressed down a bit with a button up chambray shirt.
PERFECT!

Purple 3.1 Phillip Lim purse

This bag is completely swoon-worthy and so perfect for fall!

As much as I've been excited for fall there are certainly lots of things I'm going to miss about Summer. Like Bronzed skin. Keep your summer tan looking fresh with a blended bronzer in your makeup routine. This is one of my staple items year round!

Friday Fab 5: Fall Edition

It's been forever since I've done a Friday Fab 5 post.

#1:

Fall makeup. More specifically hues of purple and dark lips!


#2:

Patterned tights. I've always been slightly obsessed and CHECK THESE BABIES OUT! Gold studs? You bet I'll be wearing these this fall!



#3:

Benefit They're Real Mascara. Obviously to pair with my fall makeup. I'm so picky about which mascaras I use & I've fallen in love with this one..  They're not kidding. World's #1 Mascara for a reason people!



#4:

Comfy Fall clothes.
Even better: Comfy tall socks.
Perfect to wear with Fall boots!!


#5:

Minnetonka 3 Layer Moccasins.
WANT.

Friday's Fab 5

FIRST OF ALL,

HAPPY FRIDAAAY!

I swear the full week back to work after having a short week for a holiday is always the worst. It feels like the week doubles. Maybe even triples.

Today I'm linking up with one of my home girls- Elle (or Lindsey..) from Life on Countryside. You'll be hearing a lot more about this girl because we are quickly becoming friends & I love her.

 

FIVE THINGS I THINK ARE FAB

 

1. My Cosmopolitan Magazines.

Everything in this magazine is pink & sparkly- there's awesome pictures & smell good samples. Beauty tips & much much MUUUCh more. What's not to like? Cozied up on the couch with my cabin socks on- cosmo on lap. Life is goooooooood.

 

 

2. Pickles.

Lately I've been craving these suckers like a pregnant woman. Don't you fret though. After my post yesterday, I am most definitely not pregnant.

We went to Jimmy John's the other night, & ALL I WANTED was a big pickle.

Pickles for dinner. That is all.

I also sang the pickle song from The Little Rascals while I ate it.  

 

 

3. Julep Maven Quick Dry Polish Drops

These quick dry drops make painting my nails not such a pain in my butt. I hate it when my nails are wet for the next 3 minutes. And if you are anything like me.. ain't nobody got time for that.

You paint your nails & while they are still wet, use the little dropper to put some of this on your wet nails and IMMEDIATELY they are dry! Not kidding. Best invention EVER.

 

 

4. This Video.
